About
Wrote My Path is a for profit business operating with a non-profit ideology. We want to serve the needs of the African diaspora while building a bridge between the many communities the diaspora represents. Through the Pan-African Community Center we will provide community services for free to the neediest of our community, but we will provide the opportunities for those who can afford to purchase services, purchase services. We will provide business services to people within the diaspora and outside the diaspora. There will be a food cafeteria which small food businesses can use to test the validity of their business. There will be a store which carries goods from through-out the diaspora, but the store will feature a POP-UP section for different small business owners to rent to test the validity of their business model. My goal is to provide community and business services to those in the diaspora and community at large and to be a community meeting spot where we can be together and begin to learn about one another. Where we can be in community with each other working towards the common goal of lifting our people across the globe out of poverty.

Under the Non-Profit mind frame we will provide services such as a shower facility, 2 meals a day, and free clothes washing to our indigent population. We will also provide these services, at a discounted price (or also free based on funding) to those in the community who may not be indigent, but just need a help up. This portion of the community center will also provide other social services. There will be an office dedicated to having County social services departments be on site offering services. This will also help us to become a county community partner, possibly opening a pathway for paid services. We want to spread the word throughout the diaspora that they have a safe place to come for services without the hassle of government red tape. I will seek out county/city services that will provide mental health, foster care, parenting classes and AA classes as examples. I also want our community center to be about change in our different communities.

"We must learn to live together as brothers and sistersor parrish together as fools."
